Job Summary
Area Manager responsible for promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products and for managing all aspects of territory business development in the Southeast and coordinating activities across key customer segments. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with health care professionals, hospital decision makers, specialty pharmacies, distributors and patient support groups; developing and executing territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; implementing marketing programs to increase market share; maintaining appropriate call frequency with targets; staying current with clinical literature; applying the CSL selling model (PS2) during customer calls; and traveling regularly to meet with customers and attend events. Requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, proven success in field sales and market share growth, and knowledge of pharmaceutical market regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
