Job Summary
Area Manager responsible for promoting CSL Behring products, managing territory business development, and cultivating relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and distributors. Develops and executes territory plans to meet or exceed sales targets, implements marketing programs to increase market share, maintains regular call activity, and stays current with clinical literature. Demonstrates strong product and disease-state knowledge, utilizes the CSL selling model (PS2) to engage customers, supports patient education programs, and travels regularly (including weekends) for customer meetings and events. Requires a Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field and at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with a track record of growth and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations.
