Job Summary
Area Manager for CSL Behring responsible for promoting and utilizing CSL Behring products in the Southeast region, developing territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets, cultivating relationships with HCPs, hospital decision makers, specialty pharmacies and distribution channel partners, and implementing marketing programs to increase market share. Responsibilities include promoting products to call points (HCPs, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors, and specialty pharmacies), developing new and expanding existing accounts through strong relationships and product/disease-state knowledge, staying current with clinical literature, implementing the CSL selling model PS2 (opening, probing, listening, closing), coordinating with patient support groups, and communicating market opportunities to management. Regular travel, including weekends, to meet with customers and attend meetings/events is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
