Job Summary
Area Manager will promote CSL Behring products, develop and implement territory business plans, and manage relationships with Health Care Professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors, and specialty pharmacies. Responsibilities include developing new accounts and growing existing accounts through solid customer relationships, communicating technical product and disease-state information, implementing key marketing programs to increase market share, maintaining call frequency with targets, staying current with clinical literature, applying the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls, collaborating with patient support groups, communicating market opportunities to management, representing CSL Behring at local customer meetings, and traveling regularly (including weekends) for meetings and events. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field, at least five years of pharmaceutical sales or relevant experience, demonstrated success in field sales and market share growth, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations.
