Job Summary
Area Manager is responsible for promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products in the Southeast Territory (including South East Region; West Palm, Orlando) and for managing territory business development. Develops and maintains relationships with health care professionals, hospital decision makers, specialty pharmacies, and distribution channel partners; creates demand and drives growth for promoted products; develops territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; stays current with clinical literature and product/state information; implements CSL selling model (PS2) and collaborates with patient support groups; regular travel required as needed to support customer meetings and events; represents CSL Behring at local meetings to increase product exposure; supports patient education programs as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations.
