Job Summary
The Area Manager drives promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products across the Southeast region, develops and grows accounts, and builds territory business plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with health care professionals, hospital decision makers, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners; delivering technical product and disease-state information; implementing marketing and selling programs to increase market share; maintaining appropriate call frequency; staying current with clinical literature; applying the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls; supporting patient education programs as needed; representing CSL Behring at local meetings; and traveling regularly (including weekends) for select customer events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
