Job Summary
Area Manager drives promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products in the Southeast region with a focus on developing new accounts and growing existing ones through strong customer relationships, clinical knowledge, and territory management. Responsibilities include promoting products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, hematology/hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors and specialty pharmacies; implementing territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; executing key marketing programs to increase market share; maintaining call frequency with targets; staying abreast of clinical literature and product state information; applying the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls; collaborating with patient support groups; communicating market opportunities to management; and representing CSL Behring at local customer meetings. Regular travel is required. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field, at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, a proven track record of field sales success and market share growth, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations.
