Job Summary
Area Manager leads promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products in the Southeast territory, develops and maintains relationships with HCPs, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and distributors, creates demand, expands new accounts and grows existing accounts, and implements territory business plans to achieve territory sales targets. Requires strong clinical knowledge, business acumen, ability to communicate product features and disease states, travel to customer sites, and execution of CSL Behring selling model (PS2) with effective opening, probing, listening, and closing skills. Regular travel and participation in patient education programs as needed; promotes products to call points, stays current with clinical literature, and represents CSL Behring at local meetings. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field, five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
