Job Summary
Area Manager oversees promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products in the Northeast Long Island region, cultivates relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and distributors, develops and executes territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets, implements marketing programs to increase market share, maintains call frequency with targets, stays current on clinical literature, uses the CSL PS2 selling model, collaborates with patient support groups, communicates marketplace opportunities to management, represents CSL Behring at local meetings, and regularly travels (including weekends) for customers or events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
