Job Summary
Area Manager drives promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products across an assigned territory, develops new accounts and expands existing ones through strong customer relationships, implements territory business plans to achieve sales targets, and stays current with clinical literature. Responsibilities include promoting products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors, and specialty pharmacies; communicating product features, disease state information, and market opportunities; implementing CSL selling model (PS2) with effective opening, probing, listening, and closing; collaborating with patient support groups; representing CSL Behring at local customer meetings; and traveling as required to support sales goals. Requires a Bachelor degree, at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, and willingness to travel; salary ranges from $120K to $145K plus incentives and potential equity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
