Job Summary
Area Manager focused on promoting CSL Behring products in the Northeast Long Island region, developing new accounts and growing existing ones through strategic territory management, key customer engagement (HCPs, hospitals, specialty pharmacies), and implementation of territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets. Role requires strong clinical knowledge, the ability to communicate product features and disease states, stay current with medical literature, and adopt the CSL selling model (PS2) during customer calls. Regular travel, including weekends, is required; candidate will represent CSL Behring at local meetings and support patient education programs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
