Job Summary
Area Manager for CSL Behring in the Northeast Long Island area drives promotion and utilization of promoted CSL Behring products, develops territory business plans, and builds / maintains relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient groups, distributors and specialty pharmacies. Responsibilities include developing new accounts, growing existing accounts through clinical knowledge and product/disease-state information, implementing marketing programs to increase market share, maintaining call frequency, staying current with clinical literature, applying the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls, collaborating with patient support groups, and representing CSL Behring at local meetings. Travel is regular, including weekends, to meet customer and corporate objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
