Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty for the Northeast Long Island area drives promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products, develops new and existing accounts, and leads territory business development with a strong clinical knowledge base. Responsibilities include promoting products to health care professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, and distribution partners; building customer relationships; implementing territory plans to hit sales targets; applying CSL Behring’s selling model (PS2) with effective opening, probing, listening, and closing; supporting patient education programs; and traveling to meet customers and participate in meetings/events. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field, at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, proven success in field sales and market share growth, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations. Salary range is $120K-$145K base plus incentives and potential equity, with regular travel expectations.
