Job Summary

Area Manager, Specialty responsible for promoting CSL Behring products and driving territory business growth in the Northeast Long Island region. Build and maintain relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors and specialty pharmacies. Develop new accounts and grow existing ones through strategic territory planning, communication of product features and disease-state knowledge, and effective call coverage. Implement marketing programs to increase market share, stay current with clinical literature, and apply the CSL selling PS2 model (opening, probing, listening, closing) during customer calls. Collaborate with patient support groups, participate in patient education programs as needed, and represent CSL Behring at local customer meetings. Requires regular travel, potentially including weekends, for customer and corporate events.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
  • Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
