Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty, Northeast Long Island Area responsible for promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products and for managing all aspects of territory business development. Cultivates relationships with Health Care Professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, distributors and specialty pharmacies; develops demand for promoted products; builds and maintains new and existing accounts; implements territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; stays current with clinical literature; uses the CSL PS2 selling model (opening, probing, listening, closing); collaborates with patient support groups; travels regularly, including weekends for meetings and events; requires a Bachelor degree and at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience; base salary range $120K-$145K with potential incentive compensation and may include equity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
