Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty for the Northeast Long Island area is responsible for promoting CSL Behring products, cultivating and maintaining relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, and specialty pharmacies, and for territory business development. The role develops new accounts and grows existing ones through strong customer relationships, communicates product features and disease state information, implements territory business plans to achieve sales targets, and stays current with clinical literature. Responsibilities include implementing marketing programs to increase market share, maintaining call frequencies, applying the CSL selling model PS2 with opening/probing/listening/closing, collaborating with patient support groups, representing CSL Behring at local meetings, and travel (including weekends) as needed. Requirements include a bachelor degree in a scientific or business field and at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a track record of field sales success and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations. The posted base salary range is $120K–$145K, with potential incentive compensation and possible equity. Benefits information is provided by CSL Behring.
