Job Summary
Area Manager promotes CSL Behring products, drives territory business development, and cultivates relationships with key customers (HCPs, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners). Responsible for new account development and growth of existing accounts through strong clinical knowledge, competitive awareness, and territory planning; implements marketing programs, maintains call frequency, stays current with clinical literature, and represents CSL Behring at local meetings. Requires regular travel, ability to develop demand, and remote collaboration with patient support groups as appropriate. Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field and at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience are required; base salary ranges from $120K to $145K plus incentive compensation and potential equity. The role emphasizes territory management, PS2 selling skills, and effective opening/probing/listening/closing with customers, along with adherence to CSL Behring SOPs and local regulations.
