Area Manager, Specialty, Northeast Long Island Area

Area Manager will promote CSL Behring products and manage territory business development for the Northeast Long Island area, cultivating relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors and specialty pharmacies. Responsible for developing new accounts and growing existing accounts through customer relationships, communicating technical product and disease-state information, and territory management. Develop and implement territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; implement marketing programs to increase market share; maintain call frequency with targets; stay current with clinical literature; apply the CSL PS2 selling model (opening, probing, listening, closing); collaborate with patient support groups; monitor marketplace opportunities and communicate them to management; represent CSL Behring at local customer meetings; regular travel including weekends. Qualifications include a Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field, minimum five years of pharmaceutical sales or relevant experience, proven field sales success and market-share growth, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations.
