Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty, Northeast Long Island Area leads promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products and manages territory business development in the Northeast region (Long Island, NY). Responsibilities include promoting products to health care professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, distributors and specialty pharmacies; developing new accounts and growing existing accounts through strong relationships and territory management; implementing territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; communicating product features, benefits, and disease-state information; staying current on clinical literature; applying the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls; collaborating with patient support groups; representing CSL Behring at local meetings; and traveling as required (including weekends) to support customers and events. Key qualifications include a Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field, a minimum of five years of pharmaceutical sales or relevant experience, demonstrated success in field sales and market share growth, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations. The role offers a base salary in the $120K–$145K range plus sales incentive compensation and may include equity.
