Job Summary

Area Manager oversees promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products within a defined Northeast Long Island territory, develops new accounts and grows existing ones, creates territory business plans to achieve sales targets, implements marketing programs to increase market share, maintains call frequency with targets, stays current on clinical literature, applies the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls, collaborates with patient support groups, communicates market opportunities to management, and travels regularly (including weekends) for customer or corporate meetings/events. Requires building relationships with Health Care Professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, distributors, and patient groups; clear understanding of product features, disease states, and regulatory considerations; and a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
  • Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
