Job Summary
Area Manager for CSL Behring promoting specialty products across the Northeast Long Island region. Responsible for developing territory business plans, promoting products to health care professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors and specialty pharmacies, and growing new and existing accounts through relationships, technical product and disease-state information, and effective territory management. Will implement marketing programs to increase market share, maintain target call frequencies, stay current with clinical literature, and apply the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls. Collaborates with patient support groups as appropriate and communicates marketplace opportunities to management. Regular travel required, including weekends for select meetings and events. Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business field and at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience are required; strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations and proven field sales success are expected. The role includes base salary with incentive compensation and potential equity, with total compensation contingent on qualifications and experience.
