Job Summary
Area Manager responsible for promoting CSL Behring products and developing a regional territory in the Northeast Long Island area. Manage relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, distributors, and patient support groups; develop new accounts and grow existing ones through effective territory management and communication of product features and disease-state information. Execute territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets, implement marketing programs to increase market share, and maintain call frequency with targets. Stay current with clinical literature and apply the CSL selling model (PS2) to customer calls, while collaborating with patient support groups and participating in local meetings to increase exposure. Regular travel required. Strong qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field, at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, proven field sales success, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations. Expected base salary range is $120K-$145K, with additional incentive compensation and possible equity.
