Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty for the Northeast Long Island area drive promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products, develop and manage a territory with key customers including HCPs, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, and specialty pharmacies; build and expand new and existing accounts through strong relationships, clinical knowledge, and territory planning; implement marketing and selling programs, stay current with clinical literature, and communicate marketplace opportunities to management; follow CSL Behring SOPs, support patient education programs, and travel as needed (regularly includes weekends) to customer meetings and events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
