Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty role focused on promoting CSL Behring products and driving territory development across the Northeast Long Island area. Responsible for cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners; developing new accounts and growing existing ones; implementing territory business plans to achieve sales targets; communicating product features, disease states, and market opportunities; delivering patient education support as appropriate; traveling regularly to meet customers and participate in meetings and events; requires strong clinical knowledge and adherence to CSL Behring SOPs; bachelor’s degree and at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience. The position emphasizes demand creation, account development, and use of the CSL selling model (PS2) to open, probe, listen, and close on customer calls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
