Job Summary
Area Manager will promote CSL Behring products, develop and manage a defined Northeast Long Island territory, cultivate relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners, implement territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets, communicate product features/benefits and disease-state information, stay current with clinical literature, implement the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls, work with patient support groups as appropriate, and travel regularly including weekends for meetings and events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
