Job Summary
Area Manager promotes CSL Behring products in the Northeast Long Island region, manages territory business development, builds relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors and specialty pharmacies; develops and executes territory business plans to meet or exceed sales targets; communicates product features and disease-state information, implements marketing programs to increase market share, maintains call frequency with targets, stays current with clinical literature, applies the CSL selling model PS2 with effective opening, probing, listening, and closing, collaborates with patient support groups, monitors marketplace opportunities, represents CSL Behring at local customer meetings, and travels as needed to attend events and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
