Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty for the Northeast Long Island area, focused on promoting CSL Behring products and managing territory business development. Build and maintain relationships with Health Care Professionals, hospital decision makers, specialty pharmacies, and distributors; develop new accounts and grow existing ones through customer relationships, product and disease-state knowledge, and territory management; implement territory business plans to achieve sales targets; deploy key marketing programs to increase market share; stay current with clinical literature; apply CSL selling model PS2 with strong opening, probing, listening, and closing skills; engage patient support groups as appropriate; keep management informed on marketplace issues and opportunities; represent CSL Behring at local customer meetings; regular travel including weekends for customer/corporate events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
