Job Summary
Area Manager promotes CSL Behring products and manages territory business development in the Northeast Long Island region, cultivating relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners while developing and executing territory plans to achieve sales targets. Responsibilities include promoting products, driving demand, communicating clinical and product information, staying current with medical literature, implementing the CSL selling model (PS2), collaborating with patient support groups, representing CSL Behring at local meetings, and regular travel to meet customers and events. Requires building new accounts and growing existing ones through solid relationships and effective territory management; cross-functional coordination to support education programs and product access.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
