Job Summary
Area Manager responsible for promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products in the Northeast Long Island territory; cultivate and maintain relationships with health care professionals, hospital decision makers, specialty pharmacies and distribution channel partners; develop demand for promoted products with strong clinical knowledge; build new accounts and grow existing accounts through relationship development, product/ disease state education, and territory management; implement territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; execute key marketing programs to increase market share; maintain call frequency and stay current with clinical literature; apply the CSL PS2 selling model with effective opening, probing, listening, and closing skills on customer calls; collaborate with patient support groups; stay informed about marketplace issues and communicate them to management; represent CSL Behring at local meetings to raise product exposure; travel regularly, including weekends for select meetings and events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
