Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty leads promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products in the Northeast Long Island area, builds and maintains relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners; develops territory business plans to achieve sales targets, communicates product features and disease states, stays current with clinical literature, implements CSL selling model (PS2), collaborates with patient support groups, and travels regularly to meet with customers and at events; requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years pharmacologics sales experience, strong domain knowledge, and ability to drive territory growth and new account development; base salary typical range $120k-$145k plus incentive compensation and potential equity; role involves regular travel including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
