Job Summary
Area Manager responsible for promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products and for managing all aspects of territory business development in the Northeast Long Island area. Cultivate and maintain relationships with Health Care Professionals, hospital decision makers/influencers, specialty pharmacies and distribution channel partners. Develop and implement territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets; stay current with clinical literature; communicate market opportunities to management; lead patient education programs when appropriate; travel as required to meet customer needs and company events. Promote products, increase usage at call points, develop new accounts and grow existing accounts through effective territory management and product/disease-state knowledge; implement CSL Behring selling models and participate in patient support activities; represent CSL Behring at local meetings to increase product exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
