Job Summary
Area Manager responsible for promoting CSL Behring products in the Northeast Long Island region, developing new accounts and growing existing ones, building relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies and distribution channel partners. Implement territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets, stay current on clinical literature, and use the PS2 selling model (opening, probing, listening, closing) during customer calls. Manage calls with HCPs, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors, and specialty pharmacies; travel as required for customer meetings and events; collaborate with patient support groups and maintain strong customer relationships to drive demand and market share growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
