Job Summary

Area Manager responsible for promoting and utilizing CSL Behring products and managing territory business development in the Northeast Long Island area. Cultivates and maintains relationships with health care professionals, hospital decision makers, specialty pharmacies, distributors and other channel partners. Develops demand for promoted products, expands new accounts and grows existing accounts through strong customer relationships, effective communication of product features and disease-state information, and territory management. Develops and implements territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets, stays current with clinical literature, implements the CSL selling model (PS2) on customer calls, collaborates with patient support groups, and represents CSL Behring at local meetings. Regular travel including weekends is required to engage customers and events.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
  • Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
