Job Summary

Area Manager, Specialty for the Northeast Long Island region. Responsible for promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products, developing and managing the territory, cultivating relationships with health care professionals, hospitals, specialty pharmacies, and distribution partners. Drive demand, develop new accounts, expand existing accounts through clinical product and disease-state knowledge, implement territory business plans to achieve sales targets, execute key marketing programs to increase market share, maintain appropriate call frequency, stay current with clinical literature, apply the CSL PS2 selling model, collaborate with patient support groups, and represent CSL Behring at local customer meetings. Regular travel required, including weekends for select meetings and events. Bachelor degree required; minimum five years of pharmaceutical sales experience; strong field sales track record; knowledge of pharmaceutical market and regulations. Base salary range is $120K–$145K plus incentive compensation and potential equity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
  • Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
