Job Summary
Area Manager leads promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products and drives territory business development in the Northeast Long Island area. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital decision makers, and distribution channel partners; developing and implementing territory business plans to achieve or exceed sales targets; promoting products to call points such as hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, patient support groups, distributors and specialty pharmacies; communicating clinical and disease-state information; staying current with clinical literature; applying the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls; collaborating with patient support groups; representing CSL Behring at local meetings; and travel to meet customers and attend events. Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field and at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a track record of market-share growth; strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations; ability to travel regularly. Salary range is $120K–$145K base plus incentive/equity potential; travel and local meetings are expected.
