Job Summary
Area Manager, Specialty for the Northeast Long Island Area focused on promoting CSL Behring products, building and growing accounts with HCPs, hospitals, hemophilia treatment centers, and specialty pharmacies. Responsibilities include developing territory business plans, increasing product usage, educating customers on product features and disease states, implementing marketing programs to grow market share, maintaining call frequency toward targets, staying current with clinical literature, applying the CSL selling model (PS2) in customer calls, engaging patient support groups where appropriate, and traveling as needed for customer meetings and events. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business field, at least five years of pharmaceutical sales experience, proven field sales success, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations.
