Job Summary
Area Manager leads promotion and utilization of CSL Behring products in the Northeast Long Island region, cultivates relationships with health care professionals, hospital decision makers/influencers, specialty pharmacies and distribution channel partners; develops and implements territory business plans, increases usage of promoted products, and drives market share through knowledge of product features, disease states, and competitive programs. Responsibilities include developing new accounts and growing existing ones, maintaining call frequency, applying the CSL selling PS2 model, supporting patient education programs, staying current with clinical literature, contributing to local customer meetings, and traveling regularly to meet customers and attend events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a scientific or business field
- Minimum of five years’ pharmaceutical sales or required relevant experience
- Demonstrated success with field sales and market share growth
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and regulations
