Job Summary

Direct overall direction and execution of the Medical Equipment Management Plan across designated hospitals. Lead a team of Account Managers, Coordinators, Technicians, and interns while collaborating with the Regional Manager to develop financial and operational plans. Conduct monthly meetings to set goals, review team progress, and manage employee time, attendance, and payroll data. Guide the Biomed team through regulatory inspections with The Joint Commission, DNV-GL, HFAP, CMS, and CAP, ensuring compliance with national and state regulations. Serve as a technical advisor to clinical staff for safe equipment operation and negotiate contracts with OEM and third-party vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
  • 2 years of experience
  • Associate's degree
  • 4 years of experience
  • Experience working in very complex organization structures (combination of Administration, Engineering, Operations, IT and Medical professionals)
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, electro-mechanical and electronic fundamentals
  • Knowledge of medical equipment function and operation
  • Knowledge of safety in healthcare facilities
  • Knowledge of medical equipment troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA and other applicable standards and regulations
