Job Summary
Drive sales results and client experience standards across all stores in the assigned area through regular, hands-on visits. Coach Store Managers and associates on selling behaviors, product knowledge, and client engagement while monitoring daily and weekly store results to address gaps immediately. Ensure consistent client communication through CRM platforms and support Store Managers in growing client relationships and repeat business. Walk the floor to review visual merchandising, product placement, and store presentation, directing corrections as needed. Partner with Human Resources on hiring, interviewing, and onboarding talent at every level, including Store Managers and associates. Provide ongoing coaching on team leadership and deliver Company training programs while administering performance reviews. Ensure stores execute Company initiatives, policies, and procedures, and report store performance updates to corporate partners. Travel up to 70% to various store locations, working flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5+ years of Store Manager or multi-store retail leadership experience
- Strong, working knowledge of retail store operations, including sales, customer service, merchandising, and inventory control
- Comfortable reading and using store-level reports, including Profit and Loss statements, to guide day-to-day decisions
- Hands-on experience with clienteling and CRM platforms to drive client engagement and sales
- Fundamental Human Resources experience: hiring, coaching, counseling, training, and development
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and hold Store Managers and associates accountable in person, on the floor
- Strong follow-through; able to translate direction from the Director into clear action at the store level
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both store teams and corporate partners
- Comfortable being highly visible and hands-on across multiple stores day to day
- Strong dedication to delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, retail reporting systems, POS systems, and inventory management tools
- Willingness to travel as necessary to support assigned stores (up to approximately 70%)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including extended time on the selling floor and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, clients, and corporate partners
- Ability to accurately process and complete documentation, reports, and financial data
- Ability to climb ladders or stairs
- Ability to handle garments, operate point-of-sale systems, and manage physical inventory
- Ability to move or lift merchandise and packaging up to 40 pounds
- Regular bending, squatting, and reaching
- Travel to various store locations as necessary to support the assigned area (up to approximately 70%)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the retail business
