Job Summary
Lead and develop multi-site retail stores across the Upper North East region (Gumbaynggirr Country) as Retail Area Manager, driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and building high-performing, community-focused teams. Responsibilities include leading and coaching store teams, achieving store KPI targets, embedding strong operational standards and visual merchandising, supporting stores to maximise donations through effective product sorting, pricing and merchandising, and building relationships with volunteers and the local community. Travel across the region is required with the role based in Coffs Harbour, Grafton or Evans Head. This is a 12-month max-term maternity leave opportunity. The role emphasizes a hands-on, commercially aware leadership style and a commitment to safety and mission-aligned decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading teams within retail, hospitality or multi-site operations
- Strong people leadership skills
- Confidence managing store performance, KPIs and operational priorities
- Hands-on adaptable solutions-focused approach
- Commercial awareness and data analysis
- Experience working towards sales targets and operational goals
- Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel
