Job Summary
Area Manager role responsible for directing and supervising operations across a group of Break Time stores to maximize sales and profitability. Oversees hiring, training, evaluations, and adherence to company policies; ensures customer service standards, store image, inventory controls, and profitability targets are met; leads merchandising, promotions, budget considerations, and compliance with EEOC guidelines. Requires multi-unit supervision experience, ability to train and develop staff, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to work with alcohol and tobacco sale regulations. Will travel up to 15% with occasional overnights for training or meetings; location in Columbia, MO with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of management or related experience
- Successful completion of Break Time Area Supervisor training within 6 months
- Must exhibit responsibility, integrity, dependability, and stability
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and manage shift reports
- Proficiency with a computer and office productivity tools
- Ability to prioritize and delegate to achieve results
- Ability to observe and ensure safety
- Available to work any shift, weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, MVR, and background check
