Job Summary
Area Manager - Merchandising responsible for overseeing a geographically defined operations area (NH, VT, ME, and part of western MA) and direct oversight of ~19 part-time merchandisers who install and service Advertising and Merchandising programs in grocery, drug, convenience and mass merchandise outlets for clients such as Shaw’s, Price Chopper, CVS, Family Dollar, and Dollar General. Lead hiring/training, ensure field programs are executed, hold reports accountable through reporting and auditing, interface with clients and customers, and drive continuous improvement and proactive issue resolution. Requires field-based leadership from a home office with strong remote-management experience, ability to analyze information for process improvement, exceptional communication, time management, and a valid driver’s license.
