Job Summary
Provide impactful leadership aligned to Salvation Army values and strategic plans, empowering team performance to deliver commercial returns while supporting diverse participants to achieve employment goals. Oversee multiple regional sites with required travel, adapting servicing to local needs through evidence-based decision-making and meaningful stakeholder relationships. Ensure compliance with National Standards for Disability, ISO accreditation, and operational policies while fostering staff development through training, coaching, and performance oversight. Maintain deep understanding of local caseloads and trends to build strong partnerships with employers, services, schools, and training providers across the Bayside region.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in areas such as Employment Services, Community Services or other relevant areas
- Experience leading or delivering an employment or other relevant support service, including advanced barrier management, reverse marketing, placement of candidates into employment and provision of post-placement support and verification
- Experience in day-to-day management and coordination of effective teams
- Ability to overcome objections and break down barriers that exist for people living with a disability
- A strong ability to problem-solve and communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business targets and KPIs
- Must hold a Driver's license
- Must complete a Working with Children Check
- Must complete a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
