Job Summary
Area Manager oversees multiple residential homes and staff teams within an assigned region, providing leadership, operational oversight, and program support to ensure high-quality, person-centered services and compliance with state, licensing, and Medicaid requirements. Responsibilities include program leadership and team development, overseeing daily operations, ensuring readiness for audits and licensing reviews, promoting individual choice and independence, monitoring staffing trends and on-call rotation, and collaborating with staff, individuals served, families, and community stakeholders to maintain smooth, compliant care across programs. Requires experience in supervising or managing within residential or human services settings, proficiency with Microsoft Office, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of Medicaid/CIH Waivers or HCBS services; Indiana-specific regulatory knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Allied Health)
