Job Summary
Conduct all operations for the geographic area, including preparing strategic plans, financial forecasts, and budgets. Ensure safety program implementation with zero tolerance for non-compliance and manage the area water well drilling business to meet financial expectations. Mentor employees, drive performance management, and lead bid reviews for large-dollar projects to assess risks and opportunities. Build alliances with customers, vendors, and subcontractors while collaborating with regional leadership on best practices and personnel development. Maintain equipment standards through regular inspections and navigate labor relations in union shop environments.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree
- Minimum of eight + years related experience
- Knowledge of construction operations (technology, equipment, methods), company policies, procedures and standards
- Knowledge of craft employee relations, Union and/or Open Shop, including the collective bargaining process as well as all employee related laws and regulations
- Understanding of water resources
- Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills
- Proficiency with all MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent organizational, supervisory, and decision making/problem solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the water resources field (Wells, rehabilitation and servicing) strongly preferred
