Job Summary
Oversee daily operations for AvantStay properties in the Hilton Head area by supervising market staff, managing hiring and performance evaluations, and coordinating housekeeping and maintenance tasks. Serve as the primary contact for property owners, reviewing distribution statements and resolving escalations to ensure guest and homeowner satisfaction. Conduct regular property inspections, verify consumable inventory levels, and address issues via emails, calls, and tickets while traveling daily across sites. Maintain strict adherence to operational standards and metrics, with availability for on-call support after hours. Requires frequent travel, weekend work, and physical activity including standing and lifting.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of property management experience with multi-site locations and exposure to working with decentralized teams
- 2+ years of experience in people management
- 2+ years of in homeowner relations
- Ability and availability to work weekends, holidays, and with an overall flexible schedule to fit current business needs
- Ability to spend a majority of working time standing, walking, and driving to properties
- Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, stoop, and occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs
- Ability to execute on light maintenance needs
- Excellent self-management skills, and the ability to prioritize and deliver work to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Ability to supervise others
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate with owners
- Ability to respond in a timely manner to emails, calls, texts, Slack messages, and tickets
- Ability to oversee operations and ensure compliance
- Ability to be available On Call after-hours for market support
