Job Summary
Lead and manage a team of area managers and hourly associates in ICQA operations within the fulfillment center, ensuring safety compliance and coordinating inventory control maintenance and random counts. Drive process improvements by implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, analyzing KPIs to identify root causes of inventory deviation, and developing standard operating procedures for consistent quality assurance. Optimize operational efficiency through cross-functional continuous improvement projects, review customer complaints to develop action plans, and actively contribute to technology solutions that enhance inventory control and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Previous Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Management experience
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in the local language and in English
- Demonstrated solid proficiency in time management skills
- Proven ability to influence, with varying levels of seniority within an organization
- Resilient, focused problem solver and self-starter, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a complex and occasionally ambiguous environment
- Strong commitment to employee development
- Exceptional level of dedication, motivation and intelligence
- Degree in a science or logistics-based discipline
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting functions
- Grasp of how inventory and accounts relate to each other
- Background in a logistics, distribution or similar environment
- Ability to manage business functions that can operate 24/7 (including holidays)
