Job Summary
Lead retail financial centers by developing sales strategies, coaching staff to meet deposit and loan goals, and maintaining customer relationships that drive profitability. Manage daily operations including transaction accuracy, regulatory compliance, and expense oversight while approving loans within prescribed limits and monitoring credit quality. Recruit, hire, and train team members to foster a culture of diversity, teamwork, and performance excellence. Ensure adherence to FirstBank policies, security protocols, and risk management standards across all operational activities. Some travel is required for in-person meetings and trainings within the market footprint.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience within banking retail or lending responsibilities
- Proven experience demonstrating the development of customer relationships, the cultivation of referral sources and the development of new account relationships
- Experience creating and maintaining a strong risk and control environment with demonstrated commitment to operational integrity and policies
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to set the tone of the financial center to provide exceptional customer experience
- Ability to organize and manage competing priorities effectively across financial center locations while developing plans for growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop relationships with the customer
- Some travel is required for in-person meetings and trainings, travel mostly in market or bank footprint
