Job Summary
Monitor service compliance with licensure and regulatory standards while supervising all personnel in the designated area, including indirect oversight of Direct Support Professionals. Coordinate staff training on licensing, county and state standards, fire codes, and Medicaid regulations, and provide initial orientation and ongoing development for employees. Provide oversight for Individual Service Plan development and actively monitor staff-individual interactions, community involvement, and person-centered planning. Lead budgetary and fiscal components of the program in conjunction with senior directors, drive program growth and referrals, and implement organizational policies and procedures. Maintain a professional attitude while documenting care and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Prior management /supervisory experience
- Must possess sound decision-making and communication skills
- Must be responsible, professional, and flexible
- Must be able to rely on reading, writing, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience providing support and services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or developmental disabilities
- Prior experience in the long term care system
