Job Summary
Area Manager oversees multiple residential homes and staff teams within an assigned region, providing leadership, operational oversight, and program support to ensure high-quality, person-centered services and compliance with state, licensing, and Medicaid requirements. Responsibilities include program leadership and team development, program operations and compliance, participant and family support, and on-call performance management. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field and 2–3+ years of supervisory experience; valid driver’s license. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating scheduling and training, ensuring audits and licensing readiness, and maintaining compliant, person-centered care across programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
- 2–3+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, long-term care, or community-based services
- prior supervisory or management experience within residential or human services settings
- valid driver’s license
